Welcome to the Springs Valley Education Foundation!
Dolly Parton's Imagination Library
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is for all children under the age of 5 in the Springs Valley school district. This program is made possible by a partnership of the Melton Library and the Springs Valley Education Foundation. It is done in memory of SV Educator Christina A Mahan to promote literacy in children.
Each child enrolled in the program will receive one free book in the mail each month until they turn 5 years old. Registration can be done at the Melton Library or email Dolly Parton's Imagination Library .

Generous donations have been received in memory of Christina to start the program. However in order to continue the program for today and future generations we will need your support. The Springs Valley Education Foundation will enhance the educational opportunities of Springs Valley community school students.
Purpose
The Springs Valley Education Foundation is organized as a 501(c)(3) Indiana nonprofit corporation for the purposes of providing educational funds for scholarships, teacher education, capital programs, and special programs for the Springs Valley School Corporation.
Vision
The Springs Valley Education Foundation will provide an avenue for all stakeholders to assist in promoting excellence in education.
The Chuck Akers Memorial Golf Tournament, which benefits the Springs Valley Education Foundation and its scholarship funds, is held every year in August and is open to all who are interested in taking part. For registration and sponsorship information click here.
