Department of Child Services Information (DCS)

  • As of July 1, 2017, Indiana Code (31-33-5-2) now requires the school employee to immediately report suspected child abuse or neglect to the Department of Child Services or to a local law enforcement agency, and then notify the principal or the principal’s designee that a report has been made.

(NBC Learn K-12 is a video streaming web site created by NBC from their vast archive of new articles.  The site is designed not only to search for topics, but also to easily find articles using state standards. Indiana has paid the subscription for all Indiana schools to have access to NBC Learn K-12)

(PBS LearningMedia's innovative digital content is designed for educators to engage students and inspire learning.  This site contains videos, interative content, lesson plans, etc.  The content is free, but you must sign up for an account with them.)
